2. Products and Services

All furniture and products shown on our Site are handcrafted by our artisans. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible through photography and descriptions. However, please note:

1. Wood is a natural material with variations in grain, color, and texture. These variations are not defects but characteristics that make each piece unique.
2. Actual colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and natural material variations.
3. All dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly during the handcrafting process.
4. We reserve the right to modify product designs, materials, or specifications without prior notice.

3. Custom Orders

For custom furniture requests, the following terms apply:

1. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin work on custom pieces.
2. Design changes after production has begun may incur additional charges.
3. Completion timelines are estimates and may vary based on workshop availability and material sourcing.
4. Client approval of design plans and materials is required before production begins.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We accept various payment methods including credit cards and bank transfers. For custom orders:

1. Payment plans may be available for larger projects.
2. Full payment must be received before delivery or shipment of furniture.
3. Sales tax will be applied to orders as required by law.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We take great care in packaging and delivering your handmade furniture:

1. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
2. Shipping costs are calculated based on size, weight, and destination.
3. White glove delivery service is available for large items in select areas.
4. Customers are responsible for inspecting items upon delivery and noting any damage on the delivery receipt.
5. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products:

1. Made-to-order and custom pieces cannot be returned or refunded unless defective or damaged.
2. Ready-to-ship items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee.
3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
4. To initiate a return, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
5. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval.

7. Warranty

The Honest Woodsmith provides a limited warranty on our products:

1. Structural warranty: 5 years against manufacturing defects
2. Finish warranty: 1 year against defects in finishing
3. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use.
4. The warranty does not cover:
   • Damage caused by abuse, misuse, or accidents
   • Normal wear and tear
   • Damage from improper cleaning or maintenance
   • Changes in wood color due to sunlight exposure or aging

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including designs, text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of The Honest Woodsmith and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

1. Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or exploit any material from our Site without permission.
2. Use our designs to create competing products.

In no event shall The Honest Woodsmith, its artisans, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
